Mr. Niamut is a Lead Client Director at Apex Financial Services (Mauritius) Ltd (“AFSML”) (formerly known as SANNE Mauritius). He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK, and a Chartered Secretary from the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. He has over 33 years of experience in accounting, finance, and financial services. Before joining AFSML in August 2000, he was the Financial Accountant of a textile manufacturing company where he worked for over 6 years. He has also worked for a firm of chartered accountants. He previously led a team of 20 people with the responsibility of a portfolio of more than 150 entities, including collective investment schemes, closed-end funds, investment holding companies, trusts, foundations, and domestic companies, before taking the role of Head of Strategic Planning, followed by Lead Client Director. He has a great understanding of diverse areas in the industry, including legal, tax, administration, accounting, and corporate secretarial. He also sits on the board of several global business and domestic companies.
